Breaking News...
- The SCCC ended the first part of its year by taking over the stage of the Music Montage 2012 Choir Festival, held on Tuesday 8 May 2012, and delivering a memorable performance of sound, movement and colour that took the audience's breath away! The photograph below shows the massed choir rehearsal before the concert.

The SCCC presented an excellent joint concert with the UNF (University of North Florida) Chamber Singers, directed by dr Cara Tasher, Not only did the audience experience world-quality choral singing, but lifelong friendships were made between members of the two choirs, who shared "Dubula" and "Shosholoza" as two finale' pieces!

We have returned from a short, but very rewarding visit to the Drakensberg Boys' Choir School where we presented a 'Choral Extravaganza' concert that drew a standing ovation and many accolades! Visit YouTube by clicking here to experience a taste of our wonderful concert!
- SCCC had a wonderful concert in Still Bay on Friday 20 April 2012! The Choir departed from George at 15.00, arrived at 17.00 and performed a full-length concert at 19.30 to a full-house! Photos to follow!
- The SCCC was featured on RSG's "Loof die Here" with Fanie Smit on Sunday 16 April 2012!
- The SCCC is saddened to hear that our 2010 head girl, Danelle Didi Coertze, has passed away after a long struggle against cancer. Our sincere condolences go out to her family and friends.
- SCCC @ the ABSA KKNK Arts Festival was an astounding success, with two 120-minute concerts comprising 26 choral works of the highest standard! See our recent activity page for pics!
