The SCCC achieved a standing ovation for its performance during the annual Music Montage Choir Festival,

held in the George Civic Centre. Outeniqua Primary School, George-South Primary School, George Preparatory

School, Holy Cross Primary School and Glenwood House Preparatory School also participated.

Highlights of 2015!

16 August 2015

The SCCC presented the closing production of the Klein

Karoo Klassique 2015, "South Africa in Refrain!" with

tenor Jannie Moolman and soprano Loveline Modumo. Dalene Brits and Olga Schoeman accompanied on the

piano and harp, respectively. 


14 August 2015

The SCCC performed at the national function of the Afrikaanse Taal Bond at George High School.



06-10 August 2015


The SCCC presented the 1st "Cantamus!" National Choral Arts Festival and Competition, in conjunction with South Cape Sport Tours and the George Municipality.

The SCCC presented the regional chapter of the

ATKV Animato Choral Competition, hosting the

visiting Eastern Cape Youth Choir for an enjoyable


The SCCC achieved GOLD and has qualified to

participate in the ATKV Animato Finals to be

held on 4 October 2015 in Pretoria.

The SCCC performed with acclaimed pianist Charl du Plessis at the programme announcement function of the Klein Karoo Klassique 2015, which was held at the Diaz Maritime Museum, Mossel Bay.

The SCCC was the guest of honour at George's annual Music Montage 2015, held at Eden Church.

Participating choirs were Glenwood House Preparatory Junior Choir, George Preparatory School Choir, George South Primary School Choir, Outeniqua Primary School Choir and Holy Cross Primary School Choir.
